Mask mode in St. Petersburg will not be returned yet

Mask regime in St. Petersburg will not be returned yet
The authorities of St. Petersburg do not plan to return the mask regime yet, although there is a noticeable increase in the incidence in this region. Governor Alexander Beglov announced this.

He noted that the authorities have not yet introduced the mandatory wearing of masks in public places, but strongly recommend that people be examined more often and undergo PCR tests in case of cold symptoms. Quite often, the coronavirus is mild, and the person does not even suspect that he is a carrier. At the same time, he continues to infect others, and one of them can become seriously ill due to advanced age or weakened immunity. It is also extremely important not to forget about revaccination.

The regime of self-isolation in St. Petersburg was extended until the summer

Now about 30,000 residents of St. Petersburg are sick with coronavirus, and one in six of them is in the hospital. The rest are treated at home, receiving advice from doctors. The mask regime in Northern Palmyra is advisory in nature, masks are advised to be worn by people from risk groups. These include elderly citizens and those with weakened immune systems.

Residents of St. Petersburg will not be allowed to transport without masks
