In Russia, a more powerful second surge in the incidence of SARS is possible

to get sick with SARS
The surge in the incidence of respiratory infections, including influenza, will be higher than the one that occurred in December, said immunologist Nikolai Kryuchkov.

Immunologist Kryuchkov said that the epidemiological situation in Russia began to worsen in the fall – since November, a wave of SARS cases, including influenza, has begun. This wave is characterized by peaks and recessions. One such peak occurred in the second half of December, followed by a decline. The next peak will follow in February, the specialist is convinced.

“From the second decade of January, a sharp increase begins with peaks already in February, then a smoother decline, by the end of March the situation will stabilize,” predicted Nikolai Kryuchkov.
Chalking from Ura.ru, the scientist added that the surge in incidence at the end of winter is the “main blow” of the SARS and influenza wave. It will be more expensive than the December peak.

The Ministry of Health reported an increase in the incidence of SARS and influenza

“The main blow falls on January-February and the beginning of March, even in the light seasons,” the immunologist noted.
Earlier, Nikolai Kryuchkov said that in case of influenza, immunity to it can remain in the body for about a year and a half, but only to to the strain that caused the infection.

This is not the limit: Russia predicted another surge in the incidence

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that unvaccinated people risk getting different strains of influenza in one season.
