According to the candidate of medical sciences, immunologist Nikolai Kryuchkov, the symptoms of the new variant of the kraken coronavirus do not generally differ from other sub-strains of the COVID-19 omicron strain, but it has some peculiarities.

He added that the new sub-lines are better able to bypass the anti-covid immunity that was formed earlier, but they “do not differ significantly in pathogenicity and lethality.”
Kryuchkov emphasized that at the clinical level, if one does not take some particularly diseases, it is impossible to distinguish not only the sub-line of the coronavirus, but even the coronavirus itself from the flu and rhinovirus infection. The only method to establish an accurate diagnosis remains a laboratory test.
