Harms more than alcohol: nutritionist Kabanov called a dangerous product for the liver, which is in every home

drink
According to nutrition consultant Alexei Kabanov, sugar can harm the liver more than alcohol.

—The most massive liver disease in our country is non-alcoholic fatty disease. At the same time, the most harmful combination of products for the liver: animal fats and sugar, the specialist explained to Lente.ru.

Especially a lot of sugar enters the body with sweet soda. In this popular drink (especially children love soda), the amount of sugar can reach up to 25 grams per 100 milliliters. Half a glass of the drink, if you calculate, contains the daily amount of sugar for an adult.

A doctor gives this example: if a person eats fatty pork, washing it down with soda, then the liver gets a real blow. If the same person drinks alcohol at the same time, then the blow will be double. The result can be fatal – cirrhosis and liver cancer
