Global deaths from coronavirus dropped to a minimum
Although the incidence and mortality rates from coronavirus are growing in Russia, the statistics in the world are more rosy. Thus, the number of infections over the past week for the first time since the end of last month fell below 5 million people, and the death rate also decreased.

Over the past week, 4.3 million people on our planet were diagnosed with coronavirus, which is 20% less than a week earlier and 40% lower than the first week of August. These are the results of statistics maintained by TASS. It notes that the global incidence has been declining for 5 weeks in a row, although in Russia it is still on the rise.

The death rate from coronavirus in the UK has fallen to almost zero

Over the past 7 days, the coronavirus has killed almost more than 13,000 people, which is 4,000 less than in the same period a week earlier. Mortality is now at its lowest level since the beginning of July. In Western Europe, the incidence continues to decline, with minimal rates in France and Germany. But the rate of decline in Italy has slowed down somewhat, and more than 20,000 cases per day are still recorded here.

Coronavirus lethality has fallen to a minimum for the entire period of the pandemic

As for Russia, the incidence has increased by 22.6% on a weekly basis, but the rapidity of this growth is slowing down. In terms of lethality, the United States maintains a leading position – more than 2,000 deaths per week. In second place is now Japan with 1,075 deaths per week, and in third is Brazil. Mortality continues to grow in Russia, it has already reached its maximum since the beginning of the summer season. (READ MORE)
