малина
According to gastroenterologist Ekaterina Kashukh, the yellowish beetle larvae in raspberries are not dangerous to health. It sounds unpleasant, but every lover of this sweet berry has accidentally eaten them at least once in their life.

The raspberry beetle lays eggs in the buds of a flowering bush, and its offspring is born inside the fruit. These insects do not carry diseases and are not poisonous. They can also serve as a marker that the raspberries are “clean”: if there are insects, then there are no pesticides.

“There is no benefit or significant harm from these insects, as well as strict dietary recommendations on this matter,” the doctor noted.

Of course, this does not mean that raspberries should be eaten with worms. A simple way: pour water over the berries, wait until the insects float to the surface, and drain the water along with them.
