Children are more likely to get sick with COVID-19

Children get sick with COVID-19 more often
Rospotrebnadzor expert Alexander Gorelov noted that recently children have become more likely to become infected with coronavirus infection. However, in the vast majority of cases, they tolerate it in a mild form or are generally asymptomatic.

Academician Gorelov reassured Russian parents that in a significant number of children infected with coronavirus, the infection takes the form of a mild cold, or simply does not cause any symptoms. However, children from this do not cease to be contagious and pose a danger to others, especially grandparents if they have not been vaccinated or revaccinated. At the moment, according to experts, the incidence of coronavirus among children has almost doubled.
