Cancer can be diagnosed by the sound of the voice
A mobile application in the foreseeable future will be able to detect tumors by the sound of the phone owner's voice. Scientists are working on an artificial intelligence system capable of capturing the smallest changes in the vocal apparatus.

American and British researchers are creating a mobile app that can diagnose various chronic health problems just by the sound of a person's voice. To do this, an artificial intelligence system is being built that analyzes the smallest vibrations in speech and breathing, with the help of which it is possible to make an assumption about some disturbances in well-being. At the moment, the authors of this project are collecting voice samples from different people, both healthy and sick.

Scientists have named female voices attractive to men

It is well known that in victims of certain ailments, such as stroke or Parkinson's disease, speech is impaired, and in patients with pulmonary disorders, changes in breathing can be detected. But there was hope that this computer program would detect a much larger number of ailments, including even depression and cancer.

Parkinson's disease will be diagnosed by voice

A team of experts, based on a large collection of human voices, will divide this diagnosis into 5 areas: neurological disorders, voice disorders, mood disorders, respiratory disorders, and pediatric disorders like autism or delayed speech development. It is expected that this program will be able to approach direct testing next year. (READ MORE)
