According to the head of dietetics at the University of ROSBIOTECH, Doctor of Medical Sciences Alexey Bereznikov, in order to eat healthy food, it is not at all necessary to buy expensive products.

The basis of a healthy diet is:

  • meat,
  • fish,
  • eggs,
  • dairy products,
  • fruits,
  • vegetables,
  • cereals.

The most expensive ones are meat and fish, but you don’t necessarily have to buy tenderloin or expensive varieties. Bones can be used to make broths, soups and jellied meat.

— Such dishes contain a huge amount of collagen in its pure form, which is good for joints and recovery from injuries. Broths cooked on bones with red bone marrow are rich in various microelements and iron,— the specialist noted.

Cutlets, chicken meat, chicken by-products are no less useful than the same tenderloin.

If there is a meat deficiency, add legumes to your diet: soups and porridges made from peas, bean dishes. They are tasty, filling and easy to prepare.

As for fish, pollock, crucian carp, capelin, mackerel are quite affordable.

— And in terms of nutritional properties, these types of fish are in no way inferior to salmon, pink salmon and other expensive types of fish,— the expert noted.

Gastroenterologist Dilyara Lebedeva also spoke in favor of bone broth.

— Our first hero is bone broth. It is not for nothing that it is often called the elixir of health! This is a real find for those who suffer from coronary heart disease, Crohn's disease and other inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract, — the specialist wrote in her blog.

Bone broth contains collagen, it helps in the restoration of mucous membranes.

To bake healthy bread, all you need is flour, water, salt and sourdough.
