Biotechnologist Ilya Duhovlinov told how to quickly cure a cold. He listed common mistakes that patients make.
— The very first mistake is to start specially “warming up” the body. This dilates blood vessels, increases blood flow, and infectious agents spread even more throughout the body, as a result of which the disease can be more severe, — the specialist noted.
A bathhouse and hot compresses will only do harm, says Dukhovlinov.
The second mistake is to take medications to boost immunity. According to the expert, they “work” only before the illness and on the very first, maximum on the second day of the illness. After that, such medications are pointless and even dangerous.
A quick effect will be achieved by competent symptomatic treatment and detoxification. It is dangerous to work when you have a cold – it destroys the vascular system, the expert emphasized. This does not manifest itself immediately, but atherosclerosis can occur ten years earlier.
For detoxification, Dukhovlinov recommends IVs selected by specialists, as well as “all methods of taking oral medications that lead to an increase in glutathione in the blood.”
Glutathione— a tripeptide consisting of three amino acids: glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine. It plays an important role in the body and has several key functions:
- It is a powerful antioxidant
- It participates in the detoxification process, binding toxins and helping the body remove them. This is especially important for the liver, which is responsible for filtering and purifying the blood.
- It plays a role in maintaining normal immune system function, helping the body fight infections and inflammations.
- Participates in various metabolic processes, including the synthesis and restoration of other antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E.
- Can affect cell division and growth processes, as well as apoptosis (programmed cell death).
Glutathione can be obtained from food (for example, from vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, and avocado) or in supplement form, but it is always recommended to consult a doctor before taking supplements.
