Aspirin use increases cancer patients' chances of survival. This conclusion was reached by researchers from Cardiff University in Wales.
A study found that taking one of the most widely used over-the-counter drugs in the world, aspirin, provided benefits for patients with tumors that outweighed the possible side effects. There was direct evidence that aspirin increased life expectancy in these patients, and the study itself even revealed some of the biological mechanisms behind this effect.

The most significant of these is the ability of aspirin to reduce the indicators of inflammatory processes in the body, which are noted in malignant neoplasms. Aspirin is a powerful anticoagulant that interferes with normal blood clotting and blood clots, blocks the overgrowth of blood vessels, and affects cell repair.
