“With cheese and melon”: nutritionist Belousova explained what grapes can and cannot be combined with

grapes and cheese
Nutritionist Anna Belousova: grapes go well with cheese, but do not tolerate combination with dairy products.

Nutritionist Belousova explained which products grapes should not be eaten with. In particular, the specialist called their joint use with dairy and fermented milk products, with the exception of cheese, a “critical combination.” Such a combination provokes indigestion and diarrhea.

“In fact, a critical combination is grapes and dairy and fermented milk products… grapes contain a lot of sugar and fiber, and dairy products are critically combined with most fruits,” Anna Belousova noted in a commentary for Sputnik radio.
As for the combination of grapes and cheese, it is not dangerous. The doctor reminded that some national cuisines imply their combination: for example, in France, combinations of cheeses, grapes and nuts are traditional, in the Caucasus, grapes and suluguni are often eaten together.

Surprisingly, an organism that does not have chronic gastrointestinal diseases can easily tolerate grapes and melon. Nutritionist Belousova noted:

“In the same Uzbekistan, melon and grapes are served together for dessert.”
In addition, she added, grapes go well with cucumbers.
