Nutritionist Mezentseva explained in an interview which sausage is the least harmful for good health. According to the specialist, this is boiled sausage – a product that is not subjected to additional smoking and frying.

Such sausage was made according to the requirements of GOST and contained a lot of natural ingredients. Today's varieties of this product are noticeably inferior in quality to the Soviet “Doctor” sausage, the expert said.

Mezentseva also recalled that boiled sausage is made from red meat, which undergoes significant processing. Although it is less harmful to health than smoked sausage, in general, you need to eat any sausage as little and as little as possible, the doctor said.
