For people with vascular pathologies, including hypertension, a product such as cheese may be contraindicated.

Cheese is one of the most popular products among Russians: they love it for its taste and ability to saturate. However, many people need to eat cheese with great care, nutritionist Elena Solomatina recalled in an interview. The doctor noted that those who are prone to disorders in the cardiovascular system should first of all control the amount of cheese in their diet.

“Who has high cholesterol, hypertension, diseases of the cardiovascular system, pronounced atherosclerosis, , of course, you need to eat less cheese because of the large amount of saturated fat and salt in its composition,” nutritionist Solomatina explained to Moscow 24.
The specialist also named other health problems that should not eat cheese.

  • Disorders and diseases of the digestive tract in the acute stage, including the liver and pancreas.
  • Disorders in the work of the organs of the urinary system (kidneys).
  • Gout.

Elena Solomatina noted that cheese is a product that contains a lot of salt, fat and protein. Even a healthy person needs to use it strictly in small quantities, since the composition of the product is quite difficult to digest. As for the disorders listed above, if they are present, the use of cheese can provoke exacerbations with the appearance of unpleasant symptoms.
