Nutritionist Irina Pisareva advised Russians to closely monitor the quality of their diet after 50.

Nutritionist Pisareva said in an interview that one of the common problems in adult nutrition is the lack of quality protein. After 50 years, consuming such a protein becomes especially important due to the reduction in muscle mass and deterioration in its tone. Pisareva noted that a certain amount of meat rich in protein and vitamins should be present in the daily diet – but not red meat, but its dietary types, such as chicken or turkey.

“In addition to dietary meat, I recommend eating more fish and seafood, which contain a large amount of omega-3 – these fatty acids normalize nervous activity, have a positive effect on memory and attention,” Pisareva added, talking to the NEWS.ru portal.
The doctor also advised, as you reach the age of 50, to include in the diet foods rich in calcium, which is necessary to maintain healthy bones and joints. The doctor considers fermented milk products to be one of the best sources of it.

Doctor Koroleva stated the need to drink water after coffee

In addition, nutritionist Pisareva recommends replacing tea and coffee with clean drinking water after 50 years. Caffeinated drinks contribute to intensive leaching of microelements, which the body may especially need. In addition, water promotes good digestion and metabolism, cleansing of potential toxins. Pisareva drew attention to the fact that with age, the body's sensitivity to thirst decreases, and with a lack of water, people can feel hungry – this leads to an increase in snacking and excess weight. Drinking water helps to solve the problem.
