Okroshka is often called a light summer dish, but nutritionist Kruglova noticed that her recipe often involves the use of harmful products. In particular, this meal may contain sausage, in which case there is a risk of eating more saturated fat. An overabundance of saturated fats in the diet is closely related to the problems of high cholesterol, excess weight, cardiovascular disorders.

“In addition, the regular consumption of processed meat, the same sausages, is a risk factor for the development of intestinal cancer,” added nutritionist Kruglova, talking to radio Sputnik.
The specialist advised using not sausage rich in saturated fat and artificial additives for cooking okroshka, but dietary boiled meat. In addition, you should not put mayonnaise in it.
