Nutritionist Ionova explained whether cancer can occur because we eat butter. In a commentary to Radio 1, she noted that the source of the problem should not be sought in one specific product, but in the general human nutrition system.

Ionova drew attention to the fact that butter is a very rich source of saturated fats, while vegetable oils contain unsaturated fats. For example, sunflower, olive, and nut oils can provide the body with polyunsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. But can we say that this is the only reason they are healthier?

According to the nutritionist, it is very important to maintain a balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in the diet. In addition, the body must still receive fats that are different in structure.

“All fats are different and work differently in our body,” the expert said.
Ionova added that it contributes to the development of cancer obesity, and its appearance is caused primarily by excess calorie intake with insufficient physical activity, and not by individual foods, especially those consumed in moderation.
