Dietitian Ginzburg said that sunflower and corn oils are oils with a very high content of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Being exposed to heat, they lose their beneficial properties and, moreover, activate inflammatory processes in the body. In this regard, the nutritionist advised not to fry in sunflower oil. The high level of inflammation associated with the constant eating of food fried on it can cause the development of pathologies such as depression or Alzheimer's disease, warned Mikhail Ginzburg.
