Nutritionist Bogdanova said that the rate of aging is partly determined by oxidative stress – a condition that occurs in the body due to the accumulation of a large amount of cell-damaging free radicals. Regular consumption of such foods can visually rejuvenate, the expert said.

“If you include certain foods in your daily diet, you can make your facial skin smoother and more elastic,” Bogdanova shared with Sputnik radio.
Specifically, according to a nutritionist, plums help rejuvenate facial skin.

“Plums are rich in vitamins A and B, they contain a lot of magnesium, iron, calcium, as well as substances that neutralize free radicals. Thus, the use of plums slows down the aging process,” commented the expert.
Bogdanova added that the constant presence of a variety of fruits in the diet is one of the secrets of a youthful face. What is important: it should be fruits that have a low glycemic index (GI). Plum belongs to such fruits.

The expert said that by consuming about 300 grams of low-GI fruits daily, you can change the condition of the skin of the face for the better: it will become more elastic, acquire a beautiful shade.
