Nutritionist Yevgeny Arzamastsev: avocados are contraindicated to eat as much as you want, in order to avoid the appearance of excess weight.

Dietitian Arzamastsev said that avocados are the fattest fruit. At the same time, its fat is polyunsaturated fatty acids, which contribute to an increase in the level of “good” cholesterol, which positively affects the heart and blood vessels, and prevents the deposition of atherosclerotic plaques.

“Avocados are good for people who have problems with the cardiovascular system,” the expert said in an interview with Moscow 24.
The expert added that the unsaturated fatty acids present in avocados improve the condition of the skin and hair.

At the same time, nutritionist Arzamastsev warned that avocados are a high-calorie product and should not be consumed like the same apples. In large quantities, avocado contributes to weight gain, the doctor said.

“This fruit should not be eaten like apples. If a person has no problems with weight, he has a good metabolism, he is actively involved in sports, you can eat one avocado daily, ”the nutritionist explained.
