The scientist claims that bananas can even be eaten to eliminate belly fat – you just need to choose them correctly. The expert recommended eating slightly unripe bananas with a greenish peel.

Dr. Karan Raj stated that such bananas have fewer calories than yellow ones, but most importantly, they contain resistant starch. It is a separate form of carbohydrates that, when entering the intestines, act like fiber, helping it to work better and stimulating the growth of beneficial microflora.

“Along with proper digestion and normal functioning of the intestines, problems with stool go away and weight decreases,” the expert emphasized.
The researcher added that the greener the banana, the lower its glycemic index (GI). Such fruits do not cause sharp fluctuations in blood sugar levels – moreover, they are useful for its normalization and can be consumed even by diabetics.

What is important to know: greenish bananas contain a lot of fiber and can cause bloating. Overeating them is dangerous, you can get stomach pain.
