Therapist Yana Shmeleva explained why tea with milk should not be in the daily diet.
Doctor Shmeleva spoke about the disadvantages of tea with milk milk – the main thing she said was that adding milk to tea neutralizes the benefits for the heart, muffling the effect of substances that have a beneficial effect on the heart muscle and blood vessels.
“Tea contains antioxidants and catechins. They participate in the body’s fight against cancer cells and have a positive effect on the entire cardiovascular system. Milk neutralizes these substances, minimizing their effects on the body,” the doctor shared with Regions.
Yana Shmeleva added that tea with milk can be poorly absorbed by the body due to the compounds that are formed as a result of such mixing. Drinking the drink can cause bloating, heaviness and other discomfort in the abdomen.
Another disadvantage of tea with milk is its reduced tonic effect. If a person drinks such a drink in the hope of replacing coffee, then he will not feel the desired cheerfulness.
In addition, adding milk to tea increases its calorie content and, at the same time, the risk of excess weight, especially if such tea is consumed with dessert.

“It is strictly forbidden for people who have fractal insufficiency to drink such a drink.”
