Nutritionist Mariyat Mukhina: it is very useful for people without diabetes to eat grapes in moderate portions.

Many people are afraid to eat grapes because of their sweetness and glucose content. But doctor Mukhina noted that when used correctly, it brings many benefits to the body and even helps prolong life.

The most useful are not too sweet varieties of red and black grapes, the expert emphasized.

“Red grapes contain a large amount of resveratrol, therefore they improve the health of blood vessels, blood circulation, support the heart and reduce cholesterol. Black, due to the large content of anthocyanins, helps in the prevention of cancer,” the expert specified in a comment to “Moscow 24”.
Doctor Mukhina gave advice on eating grapes. The delicacy should be consumed in quantities of no more than 200 grams (about a glass of grapes) per day, avoiding eating on an empty stomach.

The doctor noted that if you do not abuse grapes, you can improve bowel function, achieve good peristalsis, and avoid constipation. But you should remember that grapes increase blood sugar, and people with obesity and diabetes are better off not eating them. If you have stomach problems, the possibility of eating grapes should be discussed with your doctor.
