Doctor Andrei Kondrakhin: after 50 years, you should include crushed eggshells in your diet.

Age-related decrease in calcium levels in the body is a natural process, but its consequence is susceptibility of people to various diseases, including osteoporosis or intestinal inflammation. Doctors recommended products to replenish calcium in the body after 50 years. One of them, nutritionist Mikhail Ginzburg, noted that for this purpose it is useful to consume dairy and fermented milk products.

“The group of products with a high calcium content are dairy and fermented milk products: cottage cheese, kefir, fermented baked milk, sour milk and milk. However, kefir, fermented baked milk and sour milk are better because they contain a little less lactose, which contains a lot of sugar. And people over 50 should limit it,” Dr. Ginzburg shared with Vechernyaya Moskva.
He added that preference should be given to fermented milk products also because they contain bifido- and lactobacilli, which are extremely beneficial for the immune system. In addition, such products are fermented, due to which the protein they contain is better absorbed by the body.

The doctor also named canned fish or boiled fish with boiled bones as a good source of calcium.

Another expert, general practitioner Andrei Kondrakhin, advised people over 50 to include crushed eggshells in their diet.

“Eggshells are a record holder for calcium content. They were created by nature to easily enter the body, so you can eat them. To eat them, you need to grind the shell into powder, add lemon juice to activate the calcium, and salt. This mixture can be added to food and eaten constantly,” the doctor shared useful advice.
Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that eating garlic helps women maintain beauty and youthfulness.
