Teledoktor Myasnikov reminded Russians about the dangers drinks and foods containing artificial sweeteners.

“Sugar substitutes can be deadly,” a well-known physician warned in his telegram channel.
According to him, the use of sweeteners is associated with people's susceptibility to heart attack, stroke, cancer – today there is a lot of research data talking about this. Myasnikov said: in cases where you want something sweet, it is better to give your body a little “honest” ordinary sugar or honey.

Doctor explain that the human digestive tract is adapted to the absorption of sugar, the source of which is vegetable crops. Its synthetic analogues do not like the intestines at all, and the result of their consumption is disturbances in its microflora. These disorders lead to pathological changes in appetite and metabolism, disrupt normal insulin sensitivity, and contribute to an increase in body fat.
