Doctor Kuzmenko: With the right approach to diet, it is not dangerous to eat even a lot of eggs

Egg lovers are not afraid to eat them even quite a lot, but some nuances should be taken into account, the doctor believes.

Therapist Philip Kuzmenko shared his professional opinion on how much eggs you can eat. The doctor noted that there are general recommendations for their use, but each person should first of all focus on the individual characteristics of their lifestyle and their body.

Kuzmenko emphasized that eggs do not have toxic properties and with a competent approach to diet, it is not dangerous to eat even a lot of eggs.

“If, for example, a person goes to the gym and needs a lot of protein, then he needs to eat a lot of eggs, but eggs also contain a fatty substance – the yolk, therefore, I would advise making an omelet without yolks. In this way, he will achieve a better combination of proteins and fats in his diet. He will grow muscles, but will not grow sides,” the expert said in an interview with Radio 1.
Kuzmenko added that there is no ban on eating eggs, and the cholesterol they contain is not scary if people take care of their health and appearance. The doctor advised those who love this product to remember that egg yolk is fat. If there are other sources of fat in the diet, then it is better to eat eggs without yolks. But if there are very few fat-containing foods in the diet, and it is not too high in calories, and a person is not overweight, then he can afford to eat even more than one or two eggs, usually recommended for consumption per day, if desired.
