Doctor Dianova noted that many Russians begin to consume more caffeine in the fall. It is becoming more in demand as a stimulant to help combat the drowsiness that people are beginning to feel more strongly due to climate change. In such conditions, you can unnoticed become addicted to receiving too large doses of caffeine – this, in turn, creates certain risks for health and well-being, the doctor emphasized.

Dianova explained: in the fall, the need to limit the dose of caffeine, consuming no more daily 100–200 mg. The specialist noted that this substance can unnecessarily stimulate the heart.

“Caffeine increases cardiac activity, that is, it accelerates the pulse and causes dilation of blood vessels,” the expert warned in an interview with News.ru.
In addition, the need to limit the dose of caffeine in the fall is due to the fact that it can negatively affect the quality of sleep, since the nervous system is also sensitive to its stimulating effect. Another possible risk is stomach problems.

“Coffee can cause heartburn. People suffering from gastritis or ulcers should avoid it,” the specialist said.
