Dietician Evgeny Arzamastsev: omega-3 fats, which are healthy fats, help improve cholesterol levels when consumed adequately.

Doctor Aramastsev reminded that fats can be beneficial for the body and health. One of their best representatives is unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids. According to Arzamastsev, these healthy fats help improve liver function and lower blood cholesterol.

“Healthy omega-3 fatty acids will help improve liver function, metabolic processes and cholesterol metabolism,” the expert explained in an interview with Moscow 24″.
The specialist noted that thanks to their use, the content of so-called “bad” low-density cholesterol (LDL) in the body decreases. It is its accumulation that leads to the formation of plaques, the development of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular problems.

In addition, Evgeniy Arzamastsev added, healthy fats, consumed in proper quantities, help prolong the youth of cells – this increases the chances of prolonging life.< br>
“You can get healthy fats from both plant and animal products. Olive and flaxseed oils are considered good sources of omega-3, as well as avocados and fatty fish,” the doctor suggested.
