According to physician Kirill Antonov, water with lemon, consumed while moving, activates fat burning processes.

People who want to get rid of excess fat kilograms, doctor Antonov advised walking more often, and during such walks (especially long ones) to drink water with lemon juice. Water with lemon while walking helps to achieve weight loss, a specialist said in an interview with RIAMO.

“During long walks, it is advisable to add lemon juice to the water – if there are no problems with the gastrointestinal tract. Vitamin C in lemon will be useful for fat burning processes,” said Kirill Antonov.
The doctor added that during long hikes, water should be consumed, otherwise there is a risk of rapid depletion of the body’s resource. In cases where the walk takes an hour or more, you need not only water, but also a snack. The specialist recommended snacks containing slow carbohydrates and protein for this: for example, a protein bar could be such a snack.
