Chemist Natalia Yurova: eating persimmon has a beneficial effect on the liver.

Chemist Yurova spoke about the beneficial effects of persimmon on the body. According to the specialist, its fruits contain a very high concentration of vitamin C, an antioxidant that effectively supports the functioning of the immune system. A 100-gram serving of persimmon can provide up to 55% of the daily requirement of vitamin C. Including orange fruits with a characteristic tart taste in the diet increases the body's resistance to infections, the expert noted.

Yurova drew attention to the fact that persimmon is good for the liver and bile ducts – this is facilitated by its saturation with mineral compounds and fiber.

“Persimmon fruits contain iron, magnesium, potassium and a number of other microelements. They have a beneficial effect on the liver and bile ducts, and have a pronounced diuretic effect,” Natalia Yurova said in a comment to NEWS.ru.
