Cardiologist Bokeria reported: the habit of eating breakfast prolongs people's lives. According to the doctor, it is associated with good health and a longer life expectancy.

“Those who are in good health have one feature – such people do not refuse the first meal in the morning. As statistics show, those who eat breakfast live longer and get sick less often,” the doctor said on her Telegram channel.
Discussing what is healthy to eat in the morning, Bokeria clarified: the first meal of the day should include protein foods, which can be supplemented with a generous portion of plant products – greens, vegetables, mushrooms.

The doctor believes that processed foods are the worst choice for breakfast. For example, the specialist clarified that she does not recommend anyone to have a first meal of the day, such as sandwiches with sausage or sausages from the store. The use of such products (especially on a regular basis) is associated with the risks of developing dangerous pathologies, including dementia, colorectal cancer, and heart disease.
