The doctor said in an interview that one One quick way to get rid of the burning sensation caused by heartburn is to use chewing gum. The doctor advised using a gum that does not contain sugar and mint.

“Gum enhances the production of saliva, which cleanses the esophageal mucosa from excess gastric juice and neutralizes acids due to the alkali content,” Alexander Andreev explained.

“If there is no oatmeal, you can cook barley or rice porridge,” the expert shared.
In addition, a banana has a neutralizing effect on stomach acid. Andreev explained that bananas are alkaline foods. To eliminate heartburn, it is useful to eat them, having previously kneaded them into porridge. Melon also gives the same effect as a banana.
