Scientist, nutrition expert Viktor Tutelyan explained the importance of the presence of bread in the diet nutrition. The specialist stated the need for a product in the menu and warned that the rejection of bread dooms the body to a deficiency of the substances it needs.

“A person who refuses bread may suffer from a lack of B vitamins, as well as receive less fiber and vegetable protein,” Viktor Tutelyan told AiF.
In addition to B vitamins, the composition of bread is distinguished by the presence of manganese and magnesium – trace elements protecting the nervous system. This kit provides effective support for neurological health while vitamin and micronutrient deficiencies contribute to a range of distressing symptoms.

“100 grams of whole grain bread contains almost half the daily value of vitamin B1. If the vitamin is not enough, a person becomes irritable, gets tired faster, he develops muscle weakness,” Academician Tutelyan warned.
The scientist also recalled that bread provides the body with dietary fiber and fiber necessary for good digestion, flora in the intestines.

Which bread is healthier?According to Viktor Tutelyan, “coarse” varieties of bread should be present in the diet: preference should be given to gray, black, rye. At the same time, the consumption of baked goods should be limited, especially those made from white wheat flour – buns, pies, dessert treats.
