Women hide IVF from their bosses
Women going through in vitro fertilization procedures hide it from their bosses, a survey in England showed. Most of the fair sex is afraid of losing their jobs.

British sociologists interviewed 250 women who are undergoing infertility treatment. More than half of them reported that they could not tell their employer about this and hide the fact of in vitro fertilization. When the researchers tried to find out the reasons for this, it turned out that a third of women believe this information is a sufficient reason for their future dismissal. And one in four believe that their superiors will question their commitment to work.

Depression is most often suffered by subordinates of narcissistic bosses

20% of women consider the most difficult aspect of combining IVF procedures with work, as they need to take annual leave as prescribed by the doctor. 12% of women undergoing IVF quit their careers due to lack of support from employers, with one in seven going into low-paying jobs.

Study: Women are more likely than men to hide their sexual desires

According to the UK Office for Fertilization and Human Embryology, more than 50,000 women undergo IVF every year. It is a medical procedure in which a woman's egg is retrieved from the ovaries and fertilized with sperm in a laboratory, and then implanted in the woman's uterus for growth and development.
