For example, they say that you can't smoke for a whole month before installing implants. The doctor assures: it is enough to give up the bad habit only on the day of the procedure.
“Popular myth: Implants should not be used for periodontitis. No, if you have periodontitis, then you need to treat periodontitis. And put implants. The main thing is the condition of the bone,” says the expert.
People with diabetes are afraid to put implants. Allegedly, the implant will not take root. The doctor notes: compensated diabetes is not an obstacle to implant placement.
Many people worry that the installation of implants will disrupt diction, artificial teeth will interfere.
