Rapeseed oil lowers “bad” cholesterol in the same way as statins

Rapeseed oil lowers bad cholesterol just like statins

Heart disease is the biggest cause of death worldwide. However, heart disease is not a single disease, but a combination of several deadly diseases, from deadly to harmless.

One of the most common types of heart disease is high cholesterol. This is when the level of a fatty lipid substance known as cholesterol is too high. Cholesterol, like cardiovascular disease, is not one but a multiplicity, two to be exact.

Scientists: Hops Reduces Bad Cholesterol and Sugar

Scientists who studied the effects of eating a loaf of bread high in canola oil on cholesterol and blood sugar levels in 141 people with another common disease, type 2 diabetes.

“The results of the study showed that eating a loaf of bread with a high content of rapeseed oil can lower the level of “bad” cholesterol as well as 20 mg of statins and reduce the risk of a heart attack or stroke by as much as seven percent,” says family doctor Tatiana Zakharova, especially for MedicForum.

High cholesterol levels protect against diabetes

Heart attacks and strokes are two cardiovascular events that lead to a sudden stop in blood flow to heart and brain, respectively. Both are commonly caused by blood clots.

Study data has also shown that canola oil can help lower blood sugar levels in diabetics, who need to carefully control their blood sugar levels to avoid any complications.
