Oncologist Ivan Karasev: in some cases, microwaves can provoke the development of cancer.

Oncologist Karasev commented in an interview on a possible link between the use of microwave ovens and the appearance of malignant tumors. Speaking about the occurrence of cancer, the doctor noted that it is closely related to the cells of the body that undergo genetic mutations. These cells appear in abundance in the human body every day, but thanks to a functioning immune system, they cannot develop and die. If, nevertheless, damaged cells remain and form a tumor, this means that the body's defense system has failed for some reason and has not coped with the task of destroying them.

Among the factors that depress the immune system, allowing the emergence of tumors, the doctor called hereditary predisposition, viral infections, smoking, radiation. Regarding the influence of microwaves, the oncologist said:

“In rare cases, these household appliances can provoke cancer.”
According to Ivan Karasev, the risk of getting cancer due to the action of a microwave oven increases if it is faulty. In addition, the effect of the device on the body may depend on how close the person is to it. In particular, it is not recommended to constantly stay close to the microwave, that is, at a distance of less than 50 centimeters.

Do negative emotions influence the development of cancer? Doctor Karasev says

“There are publications about how non-compliance with this rule affected fast food vendors in small kiosks. In them, the sellers were constantly 5-10 cm from the microwave oven, located at the counter at the level of the pelvis. Among them, then they noticed an increased incidence of malignant tumors of the organs of the reproductive system, ”the physician told Izvestia.
From the recommendations of other experts, it follows that cracked dishes should not be placed in microwave ovens, and food placed in a plastic container should not be heated in them. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the radiation intensity of the ovens (indicated in the documentation).

Oncologist Karasev spoke about the impact of negative emotions on the development of cancer

“Microwave ovens are considered safe if they leak radiation at a distance up to 5 centimeters from the surface of the oven, no more than 50 W/m² is allowed. ”
Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that poor appetite in women can be a symptom of ovarian cancer.
