Doctor Vikulov pointed out the most dangerous alcoholic drinks, Lenta.ru reported. The doctor said that the most destructive consequences for the body are caused by methyl alcohol intake – it is this that often poisons victims of surrogate alcohol.
“When taken orally, methyl alcohol can cause blindness and cause death,” the expert warned.
The doctor also included moonshine and vodka among the most dangerous. Vikulov placed cocktails from a mixture of alcoholic drinks in second place. According to the doctor, addiction to such drinks is fraught with acute damage to the liver and pancreas.
Beer is also among the three most dangerous alcoholic drinks for the body, according to the expert. Vikulov stated that passion for it can provoke the development of alcoholic cardiomyopathy. In addition, other organs can be seriously damaged.
“The effect of frequent beer consumption is that the belly grows unnoticed, and the liver and pancreas are damaged,” the doctor noted.
