“Hepatitis and heart disease”: Doctor Kozlovskaya named dangerous causes of loss of energy

fatigue
Doctor Elena Kozlovskaya said that lack of tone is observed in a number of serious diseases.

Doctor Kozlovskaya advised Russians to see a therapist if they experience unusual, too often felt fatigue, to consult and, if necessary, take the prescribed tests. She noted that such a drop in energy may have dangerous causes in the form of pathologies developing in the body without showing specific signs and “masking” themselves as ordinary fatigue. In particular, these may be hepatitis, heart disease or diabetes.

“For example, with heart failure, the heart pumps oxygen-rich blood to the muscles and other tissues of the body less effectively. As a result, even normal daily activities, such as walking or carrying groceries from the car, can become difficult,” the expert shared with Vechernyaya Moskva.
In the case of hepatitis, the doctor added, the liver becomes inflamed, which worsens its function as a filter organ. Potentially harmful and toxic components in the blood increase, and this negatively affects the functioning of the body, causing a decline in energy.

With diabetes, the feeling of loss of energy occurs due to a disruption in the processes of sugar entry into cells. In addition, the feeling of constant lack of strength is characteristic of anemia, which often occurs due to iron deficiency, but not only because of it.

Fatigue and weakness are also characteristic of hypothyroidism – a disease of the thyroid gland.

“Thyroid hormones control metabolism, and when they are not produced in sufficient quantities, symptoms of fatigue, weight gain and a feeling of cold may appear,” the doctor explained.
Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that sudden joint problems can occur due to liver disease.
