“Drink Enough Water”: Doctor Masgutov Named Simple Means for Thinning the Blood

Doctor Ruslan Masgutov: adequate blood thinning prevents blood clots.

Thick blood increases the likelihood of thrombosis, one of the factors in cardiovascular disasters. Doctor Masgutov named simple means for thinning the blood – clean drinking water is first on their list.

“Ordinary water helps to cope with thick blood. The first thing to do is to drink enough fluids. Water perfectly normalizes blood circulation and promotes the flow of nutrients to the organs,” Techno Dzen quotes the specialist as saying.
Masgutov added that ginger and garlic have anticoagulant properties. Ginger contains a substance called gingerol, which, when it enters the blood, combines with acids and prevents platelets from sticking together. As for garlic, regular consumption of one or two cloves of the spicy vegetable leads to a significant reduction in the likelihood of blood clots. It is because of its ability to thin the blood that garlic is usually declared contraindicated if the patient is already taking anticoagulant medications.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that people who eat garlic are less likely to suffer from liver cancer.
