“Contains aldehydes that increase the risk of cancer”: doctor Kaloshina explained the dangers of French fries

French fries
Endocrinologist Maria Kaloshina called French fries from fast food outlets a product that increases the risk of developing cancer.

Doctor Kaloshina explained the harm of French fries from fast food establishments in a conversation with RIA Novosti. The doctor said that the habit of eating such a product increases the likelihood of developing cancer.

“Consumption of French fries in fast food restaurants significantly increases the risk of developing cancer, a passion for fast food can also be compared to smoking cigarettes,” said Maria Kaloshina.
The doctor drew attention to the fact that French fries contain substances that increase the risk of cancer – aldehydes (which are also present in cigarettes). These compounds are formed during the frying process. The expert noted that catering establishments that serve fried potatoes often cook them in the same oil in which other products are fried. Because deep-frying oil is rarely changed, it accumulates more and more potentially carcinogenic combustion products that penetrate the potatoes.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote about which products contain a harmful additive known as “meat glue”.
