Cosmetologist Tatyana Evstigneeva told whether home skin care devices are really necessary and how justified their effectiveness is.

Home care devices are in the arsenal of many women today. Of course, they cannot be compared with professional ones in terms of their effectiveness, but they can be used as an addition to home care products.

“With their help, you can do many procedures at home to keep your skin clean and toned. For example, microcurrents perfectly remove puffiness,” the expert says.
There are ultrasonic, vacuum, microcurrent and Darsonval devices. All of them can be used at home, however, before use, be sure to consult a dermatologist or cosmetologist.

Home devices will not be able to replace your visit to a beauty parlor, they will not give the effect that you get on professional devices. But as support in between visits to a cosmetologist, they will be a good alternative.

Such devices will help skin care products and their beneficial components penetrate deeper into the skin.

In this case, the principle applies: something is better than nothing. But if you want to use them to completely abandon the services of a cosmetologist, most likely, home devices will not give you the expected effect.
