Doctors Elena Malysheva and German Gandelman: giving up soy is an effective way when it comes to the need to reduce high blood pressure and get rid of excess weight.

Doctors reported on the set of the program “Zhit Zdorov!” that giving up salt gives a noticeable reduction in high blood pressure and weight in just seven days.

“What happens when you give up salt in your diet? In the first seven days, you will lose about one and a half kilograms, and your blood pressure will decrease by about 6 mm Hg,” explained cardiologist German Gandelman.
Doctors have found that salt contains a lot of sodium, a substance that retains fluid. Because of this, the volume of circulating blood begins to increase, which presses on the walls of blood vessels with greater force – this ultimately increases a person's blood pressure. Doctors emphasize that people who like everything salty tend to live in constant edema and hypertension. If a person is already diagnosed with hypertension, he must definitely adjust the amount of salt consumed and refuse it more often.

Doctors have clarified how to give up salt. At the first stage, remove the salt shaker from the table – you need to train yourself not to add salt to your food. Then you need to reduce the amount of cheeses in your diet, which usually contain a lot of salt, and also eliminate any processed meat from your daily diet. After this, obviously salty foods, pickles and canned goods are excluded.

“In 3 months of giving up salt, blood pressure will drop by 8-10 points, and this will lead to a decrease in the risk of stroke by 17%, heart attack – by 14%, and sudden cardiac death – by a third,” the doctors stated.
Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that lard is good for the body as a source of selenium, a substance that prolongs life.
